Hangar Thirteen
Hangar Thirteen is an organization working to restore a Second World War heavy bomber that was shot down near Beauvais, France on 6 September 1943.  This aircraft, Lucky Thirteen, was a Boeing B-17F and, when restored, will be the sole surviving aircraft to have participated in the bloody campaigns against Schweinfurt, Regensburg, and Stuttgart, Germany in the autumn of 1943.

They Flew With Tigers

They Flew With Tigers,  by Paul R. Martin III is about the unheralded airmen of the 308th Bomb Group of the Fourteenth Air Force’s “Flying Tigers” in China during World War II.  They have received little recognition, while their counterparts of the Eighth and Fifteenth Air Forces in England and Europe have had hundreds of volumes honoring them.  The time to tell their epic story has finally come..
